If you ever find yourself in what seems like a bottomless pit of self-doubt and hatred of your work – hey, I’ve been there! I think that most artists have. But recently I’ve tried to develop a different way of looking at art and critique that have made me happier and have relieved some stress.
Before I begin I just want to make clear that this absolutely not a post on how everyone should approach art undoubtedly. Everyone should do whatever they please with their art. It’s tough to see people, especially my friends, in this self-depreciating agony - and if I found this information useful for getting out of that state of mind, maybe others will too.
